Dear Mam/Sir,

Greetings!

Serve – Net and the Liga Kalikasan with the coordination of Bantay Cordi will hold a Summer Youth Camp (SYC) on April 5 – 10, 2011 at

Sayatan, Daclan, Tublay, benguet. This will be our fourth SYC. SYC is a yearly activity that gathers youth leaders from North Luzon and other parts of Luzon.

This year's SYC will be executed with regards to how the philippines geopolitics deals with the ongoing issue of climate change and how climate change and the global financial crisis impact on the Filipino people. Hence the theme of this year's SYC as seen in this context – “Balancing the Surroundings to Sustain Life on Earth.”

The skills training will focus on theater, song writing and visual arts. The main resource person and trainor of the SYC is seven – time Palanca – Awardee and National Artist Mr. Levy Balgos dela Cruz. Other SYC Team and trainors will be coming from progressive people’s and artists’ organizations.

May we invite your SK Chair and Kagawads, other youth and student leaders in your network / institutions / organizations especially those interested in theater, song writing and visual arts to join our youth camp?

Registration fee is php 2,500.00 / participant to be shouldered by the SK / organization’s fund. Please coordinate through the information above for other queries. Please bring camping provisions (tent, flashlight, basic camping tools).

May we also invite you to the SHOWCASE night which will be on April 5, 2011.

Let us share this positive learning experience to our youth leaders.

Sincerely yours,

LIZA D. GOBRIN
